Jazno Francoeur and India Turner are the guiding spirits of mercymachine: writing, producing, and performing (vocals, guitars, and occasionally, banjo). They are complemented by the arranging and performing genius of Paul Fleury (cello), Dan Cermeno (upright bass), and rounded out by Kays Al-Atrakchi, an erstwhile soundtrack impresario. Mercymachine is a hybrid between Leonard Cohen's confessional, intimate style and Kate Bush's etherea. It is dynamic, dense music, reflective and introspective.
